How should I care for my products? Natural soaps are a softer soap and should not be left in water. This causes them to become gummy and dissolve faster. It is best to keep them on a slotted soap dish or one that allows the water to drain away from the soap. Other products should be stored in a cool, dry place. Products should be used within one year.
Are your products 100% Natural? Most of our products are between 97-99% natural. The use of fragrance oils causes them to not be 100% natural. Products containing fragrance oils have been requested repeatedly because essential oils cannot duplicate some scents.
Do you test on animals? We do not do any testing on animals. Family, my friends, and I test all products before they are sold to customers.
Do I have to order online? No. If you are uncomfortable, ordering through our secure website using your PayPal account you can contact Soap Shanty via email to place an order. Check the Contact Page for email info.
What is your return policy? Due to the nature of our products, we are unable to accept any returns. Please contact us with any product inquiries and we will make sure that you are satisfied with your purchase.
Do you make custom orders? Please contact me with any ideas or requests for special orders. We can discuss your needs and do our best to help you out. If you want a different scent than the ones that you see...please email me and ask me about the possibility of adding that scent. I am always willing to listen to any suggestions.
What is your processing/shipping time? It usually takes 2-3 days to process and make your order. I like to make orders up fresh so that you are guaranteed the freshest products possible. Then I use UPSP to ship your orders. Most orders ship Priority Mail and will arrive to you within 2-3 days. Therefore, you should have your orders within 5-7 days.
